In 2005, Fly-Fitters started in the heart of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains with two
basic principles in mind: Always pay attention to details and make certain that quality
fly fishing equipment and accessories can be affordable.  As Fly-Fitters continues
to grow, we are consistently adapting to the needs of fly fishers. Today's angler
expects quality, practicality, and doesn't want to pay a high price for equipment
just because of the stigmatism that goes with fly fishing being an expensive past
time.

In order for Fly-Fitters to deliver on its principles, our focus has been on developing efficient production methods and keeping most of the manufacturing in house.  Fly-Fitters understands that not every fly fisher wants to spend a lot of time, effort and money searching for a quality accessories.  Our customers have told us they would rather spend their energy catching fish.

Manufacturing
The plastic components that we use are made in Germany or right here in the USA. The raw materials for our foam are made in England or in the USA. Every cut that is made to our foam is made right here in our manufacturing facility in Roanoke, Virginia.   Assembly is done here in Roanoke and the boxes ship from here as well.
